AIM Bestattung & worldwide transfers is a transfer company that has been in existence for many years and is headquartered in Germany, specializing in the transfer of the deceased to the USA and all countries in the world. Due to our close contacts to the foreign embassies of the United States of America, we also have the possibility to transfer US citizens who have died abroad back to the USA by plane or private jet. We have been working successfully with around 900 companies worldwide for years, and can therefore offer you the complete implementation, processing and organization of the transfer of a deceased or their ashes to the USA quickly and reliably.

How do you commission us?

2. You will receive a reply from us by email, in which you will receive all important information, further procedures and the costs incurred. We will put the order form as an attachment in the reply email. Of course you can also contact us personally by phone and get information in advance.

3. As soon as we receive the completed order form by email, we have been commissioned by you to take care of the transfer of your deceased to the USA very quickly and reliably.

 

What documents are required for the repatriation of a deceased or ashes to the United States?

 

The following documents are required for the transfer of corpses or urns to the USA.

Copy of the deceased's ID or passport

Data (name and telephone number) of the recipient (possibly undertaker in the USA) or the data of the accompanying person.

All other documents such as Birth certificate for single, marriage certificate for married, death certificate of spouse for widowed etc. are only required for the final death certificate, but can easily be submitted to the responsible registry office after the transfer of the dead person.

If documents are missing, a provisional death certificate will be issued by the registry office, with which the body or urn can be transported to the USA without any problems.

 

What are the costs of transporting a deceased person or urn to the USA?

The total cost of moving a body to the United States varies greatly and depends on the following factors.

Where is the deceased currently?

Airline freight costs (depending on the weight of the deceased)

By scheduled flight or private jet?
Any fees incurred at the clinic, registry office, cemetery, forensic medicine, etc.

Which services and fees do these costs include?

the post-mortem examination fee of the doctor or hospital.

If services that deviate from our offer or additional services are required, this is possible at any time for an extra charge.

 

How is the process?

Fill out our order form and send us the required documents and information via email.

Wait until we have completed all the necessary documents and all other activities and we will get in touch with you.

You will receive all important documents and information such as AWB bill of lading, flight details, photos, etc.

The deceased is duly delivered to the airport and handed over to the shipping company.

Every international airport is able to accept corpses and is therefore approachable.

How long does it take for the deceased to arrive in the US?
As a rule, a smooth transfer of a body to the USA takes between 5-12 working days.

 

What are the costs for repatriation from the USA to Germany?

If a death occurs in the USA, it is possible for us to cooperate with our local partners in order to transport the deceased back to Germany. This is often associated with very high costs, so it always makes sense to take out travel health insurance.

The total costs are made up of the costs of the undertaker in the United States of America, any open treatment costs from a clinic in the USA, and our services to the desired airport or cemetery.

 

Will I always be kept up to date with the processing?

Yes, we always conduct the transfer of the deceased to the USA in close consultation with you, so that you are always up to date. If you do not want this, please let us know in good time.
